PHILIPPAERTS 11th FOR HIS RETURN IN SWEDEN
After the dramatic crash of Maggiora two weeks ago, David PHILIPPAERTS was back in the saddle of his CRF450R Pro Circuit for the GP of Sweden in Uddevalla.
DP19 has been very regular all along the weekend and did not want to take big risks and wanted to come back injury free for the second part of the season. In the first moto after taking a very good start he was well placed but found some trafic in the first corner and lost some positions but came back strongly to take the final 12th position, while in the second moto he came out of the first turn in fourth place and battled with the group of the leaders for most of the race and just at the end dropped to a final 9th place. After loosing some training due to the big fall in Maggiora, DP19 is coming back to his top form showing that he will be a regular top 10 contender in the second part of the championship.
In Sweden the young russian Vseva BRYLYAKOV was representing the team in the MX2 class and despite his lack of experience at this level and being at his only third GP appearance, the kid did a good job finishing 22nd and 23rd without any mistake in the two races and showing that he could have the potential to improve with 7 GP before the end of the season.
